excellent proximity to parks and historic sites for city strolls
I truly appreciated the spacious and clean room that allowed plenty of sunlight and the convenient location, as it was just a short stroll to Mills Park and the Nevada State Museum, making my weekend explorations so enjoyable.

Comfortable beds and attentive staff marked the stay, while the building needs a lot of work, especially regarding air conditioning and water issues. The breakfast options felt standard but appreciated for the fresh coffee and fruit. Reservations might be an issue, as we had complications with room assignments.

would absolutely stay here again
The king suite was spacious with a couch, dining table, and microwave. It had a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, and separate sink area. The bathroom had great water pressure and a heating lamp. Breakfast was decent with hard-boiled eggs and muffins. Free cookies in the afternoon were a nice treat!

Retro charm in the heart of the city!
The vibe is super nostalgic and quirky. The lobby was nice, and they have a picnic area to chill outside. Our room had tons of space, which was a win for the fam, but man, where were all the outlets? A bit of a hassle to charge our phones.

missingWrote a review on Jul 20great locationample parkingconvenient accessunclean carpets
The location is a real plus, just a short walk from downtown and easy to find. Plenty of free parking in the underground garage makes it convenient for travelers with vehicles.
On the downside, the carpets in the hallways and room had noticeable stains, which was off-putting. Dust accumulated between the beds and nightstand, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning, although the bathroom itself was clean. The air conditioning unit is ancient and quite noisy, so expect to bring earplugs for a better night's sleep. Finally, although it's advertised as a non-smoking facility, there were cigarette burns on the floor and carpet in my room, which was disappointing given the prevalent smoking smell in the area.

Had a great time with friends! We visited the local museum and enjoyed a day hiking in the nearby mountains. The staff was super friendly, and the complimentary cookies were a nice touch. Breakfast options were decent, and the coffee maker in the room was a plus.
One issue was the elevator being out of order, which led to some inconvenience while carrying bags up and down.

It was just a good match for a transient stop in Carson City with great value for the money. The hot water and good shower were definitely highlights during my stay. If you're looking for a budget option, it works, but don’t expect too much comfort.
